The International Festival of Films on Art (Le FIFA) will open its 44th edition with the feature film Mon amour, c’est pour le restant de mes jours, by Quebec director André-Line Beauparlant, presented as a world premiere.

Screened on Thursday, March 12, at 7:00 p.m. at the Monument-National in Montreal, the film is presented in the International Competition – Feature Films and National Competition – Feature Films, in the presence of the filmmaker and the film crew.
The film will also open FIFA in Quebec City on Friday, March 13, at 7:00 p.m. at the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec (MNBAQ).
In this deeply sincere documentary, André-Line Beauparlant takes up the camera to better understand the life and work of her partner, filmmaker Robert Morin. Composed of film clips, behind-the-scenes footage, conversations, and personal archives, the film reveals the inner workings of their collaboration in cinema and in life.
The narration creates a double biography reflecting on love, obsession, the passage of time, and death. Guided by a profound desire to reach out to the other, the film unfolds like a love letter, a daily journal, and a resolutely feminist proposition: that of conjugating creation in the plural.
Mon amour, c’est pour le restant de mes jours will be screened on March 12 at 7:00 p.m. at the Monument-National in Montreal, and on March 13 at 7:00 p.m. at the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec (MNBAQ) in Quebec City. Both screenings will be held in the presence of director André-Line Beauparlant.
