The Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television has announced the finalists for the Canadian Screen Awards 2024 in 156 film, television and digital media categories. The annual awards, dedicated to excellence in the audiovisual sector, will take place over four days during Canada Screen Week, culminating in the Canadian Screen Awards 2024, hosted by Mae Martin and broadcast on Friday, May 31 at 8 p.m. on CBC and CBC Gem.

Little Bird leads the way with 19 nominations in the series category, and Blackberry with 17 nominations in the movies category. 

The Canadian Screen Awards 2024 will be presented in a series of ceremonies at the CBC Broadcast Centre in Toronto. The awards series will culminate in the Canadian Screen Awards 2024 television show, hosted by Mae Martin, which will be open to the general public at home.
