MUBI, the worldwide distributor, streaming service, and producer, has once again joined forces with My French Film Festival, the world’s first online online French-language film festival, which is currently celebrating its fourteenth year. In the upcoming year, MUBI plans to present three outstanding films from the festival’s 2024 selection on its platform.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting January 19 and continuing throughout February, these three movies will be available for streaming exclusively on MUBI. The collaboration, titled From France with Love, has been thoughtfully curated to showcase the talents and creativity of the latest wave of French-language directors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Movies<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Junkyard dog (Jean-Baptiste Durand) \u2013 2023<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Childhood friends Dog and Mirales live in a village in the South of France with little to do\u2014teasing Dog mercilessly is Mirales\u2019 favorite pastime. But with the arrival of newcomer Elsa, this summer is different. Romance soon blossoms between Elsa and Dog, while jealousy eats away at Mirales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"MyFFF<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Junkyard dog is an expression from the suburbs, and there is the metaphor of the dog, because the friendship of these guys evokes the master-dog relationship, a dominant\/dominated relationship but also an unwavering love, courage and loyalty, almost absurd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No dogs or Italians allowed (Alain Ughetto) \u2013 2022<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Luigi and his brothers set out from their native village in the Piedmont to discover \u201cLa Merica\u201d, the fabulous land where dollars grow on trees. Finally, instead of crossing the Atlantic, Luigi puts his backpack down in southern France, with hands that could no longer work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The film is designed as a fictional dialogue with Cesira, the director’s deceased grandmother, from whom the latter asks everything he would have liked to know, a testimony to the experiences of these generations of Italian migrants and a tribute to their courage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The beast in the jungle (Patric Chiha) \u2013 2023<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Over twenty-five years, in a huge nightclub, a man and woman wait for a mysterious event to take place. While they hold out in silence, everything around them is loud and in motion. From 1979 to 2004, from disco to techno, years pass as the duo wait and watch the world from the sidelines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
