The Fantasia Film Festival is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. To mark the occasion, Le petit septi\u00e8me will have the honor of covering the event for its two weeks, from July 16 to August 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Throughout the festival, we will be on-site to bring you the event up close with coverage that includes daily reports, articles, reviews, interviews, and first impressions to capture the vibrant atmosphere of the festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The 2026 Fantasia program features films from various genres from several countries, such as the science fiction thriller Hot Spot by Agnieszka Smoczynska, Nicolas Winding Refn’s latest film, Her Private Hell, which opens the festival, The Mouths and Village of Eight Gravestones by Takashi Shimizu, creator of the Ju-on\/The Grudge saga, as well as a tribute to Robert Lepage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Fantasia Film Festival is one of the most important genre film festivals in the world. Many films programmed during its 30-year history have gone on to achieve great success. The Cin\u00e9math\u00e8que qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise will screen some of these films as part of the Fantasia: 30 Years of Euphoria series, from August 7 to September 19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
